
Hunter Wright, Intern
Hunter Wright is a Counseling Intern pursuing his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. He is passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and hope.
Before entering the counseling profession, Hunter spent more than two decades in commercial construction management, where he led teams and provided organizational training. He also served in youth ministry, mentoring adolescents and young adults through significant seasons of growth and transition.
Hunter is known for his calm presence, thoughtful listening,
and genuine desire to help people feel seen, understood, and supported. He strives to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients can process difficult experiences honestly and work toward meaningful healing and growth.
His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, abuse recovery, life transitions, and men's issues. Hunter values a client-centered approach that honors each person's unique story while helping clients develop practical tools for lasting change.
Hunter provides counseling services under the supervision of Marcy McClain, LPC-S, while continuing to develop his clinical skills through graduate training and supervised practice.
