Because Healing Is Possible and Hope Is Not Lost
At Still Waters, we value every person who reaches out to us. We do not see problems. We see people with real stories, real struggles, and real courage simply for taking the first step and asking for help.
We know it is not easy to reach out when life feels
overwhelming, relationships are strained, anxiety will not let up, or hope seems far away. From the moment you walk through our doors or log into a session, we want you to feel safe. Safe to exhale. Safe to be honest. Safe not to have everything figured out.
You are not a problem to be solved. You are a person to be cared for.
Mental Health Therapy
Our licensed therapists help children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and rediscover the strength, clarity, and purpose that may have been buried beneath stress, pain, loss, or uncertainty.
No two people are alike, and therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. Our therapists tailor care to each client’s needs, goals, and life experiences.
Our therapists are trained in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
For clients who desire it, our licensed therapists thoughtfully integrate Christian faith and Biblical Truth into mental health therapy. We believe God cares deeply about every part of our lives and that faith can be a powerful source of healing, hope, and resilience.
Pastoral Counseling
Sometimes life raises questions and struggles that cannot be separated from faith. Where is God in what I am facing? How do I remain faithful when I feel weary, uncertain, or overwhelmed? What does Scripture offer me in this season, and how do I know what to do next?
Pastoral counseling at Still Waters gives adults and couples a trusted place to bring those questions and speak honestly about what they are carrying. Through compassionate conversation, Biblical reflection, spiritual guidance, and prayer when desired, a Pastoral Counselor can help you make sense of your experiences, recognize God’s presence, find encouragement, and discern a faithful way forward.
Pastoral counseling can be especially meaningful during caregiving, grief, relationship concerns, spiritual struggles, ministry challenges, major life transitions, martial struggles, premarital discernment, and seasons of questioning your purpose or direction. You do not have to navigate those seasons alone.
