Insurance for Mental Health Therapy
Still Waters works with many insurance companies to help reduce the cost of mental health therapy. Coverage and clinician participation vary by plan, so we recommend confirming your benefits with your insurance company.
We are also happy to verify benefits for the licensed therapist you would like to see.
Pastoral counseling is offered on a private-pay basis and is not billed to insurance. Private-pay rates are listed below.

If your therapist is out-of-network, you may still be eligible for reimbursement. We can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement varies by plan.
To verify your coverage, call the number on the back of your insurance card . We recommend asking:

Payment Methods
We accept all major credit and debit cards. HSA and FSA cards may be used for eligible mental health therapy expenses. Pastoral counseling is private pay and is not represented as HSA or FSA eligible.
Payment Policy
A valid payment card is required to be kept on file. Balances are generally processed within 24 hours following each appointment.
Cancelation Policy
We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a $75 fee. This policy applies to mental health therapy and pastoral counseling. Insurance does not reimburse cancellation or missed-appointment fees.
