At Still Waters, we believe access to therapy shouldn’t be complicated. That’s why we work directly with many insurance companies to help reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
Your policy may cover therapy in full or in part. Since every plan is different, we recommend calling your provider to confirm your benefits. We’re also happy to help you understand your coverage and can assist in checking your benefits.
Insurance participation varies by clinician. Please contact us and we will be happy to verify your benefits for the therapist you would like to see.
We are in-network providers for the insurance companies listed below.
If your therapist is out-of-network, you may still be eligible for reimbursement. We can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement varies by plan.
To verify your coverage, call the number on the back of your insurance card . We recommend asking:

If you’re paying out-of-pocket, we offer a sliding scale based on your annual household income to help in making therapy more affordable and accessible.

Payment Methods
We accept all major credit cards, including HSA and FSA cards.
Payment Policy
A valid credit card, debit card, HSA card, or FSA card is required to be kept on file. Balances are generally processed within 24 hours following each appointment.
Cancelation Policy
We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or appointment changes. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a $75 fee. Insurance companies do not reimburse cancellation or no-show fees.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges to clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use their health insurance benefits for services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your counseling services before you begin treatment. The estimate will include the anticipated cost of services based on the information available at the time it is prepared.
Please note that the total cost of counseling will depend on the number of sessions you choose to schedule. Your Good Faith Estimate is based on the information available at the time it is prepared. A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to obtain services.
If you are uninsured or plan to pay for services without using insurance, you may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill.
