
Jerri Dobelstein, MA, ALC
Jerri Dobelstein is an Associate Licensed Counselor who brings a calm, steady presence and a deep commitment to understanding each client’s story. She works with individuals who are navigating emotional pain, life transitions, and experiences that feel overwhelming or difficult to process alone.Jerri earned her Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, which informs her ability to understand how culture, life experiences, and personal identity shape each person’s story.
She practices as an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Marcy McClain, providing thoughtful and ethically grounded care.
Jerri completed her clinical internship with Still Waters Counseling & Education Center, where she provided therapy in the office as well as onsite at The Lovelady Center and Hope Inspired Ministries. Through this work, she has experience supporting individuals in recovery, walking through trauma, and rebuilding their lives in meaningful ways.
She also has a background in trauma-informed care as a trained facilitator with the Trauma Healing Institute. Jerri approaches counseling with patience and intentionality, helping clients process difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe while gently working toward clarity, healing, and growth.
Jerri’s approach is relational and grounded. She focuses on creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and not rushed. Together, she works with clients to explore patterns, process emotions, and take meaningful steps forward.
For clients who desire it, Jerri integrates faith into the counseling process in a way that is natural, respectful, and aligned with each client’s values.
Jerri’s goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their story, experience healing, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
