
Dr. Sandra Bruno, MS, DMin, LMFT, AADC
Dr. Sandra Bruno is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Alabama with more than 25 years of clinical experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. She earned her Master of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from California State University and later completed her Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling at Liberty University.

Sandra works with clients facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, grief, depression, addictions, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, career difficulties,
and major life transitions. She is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and has extensive experience providing both clinical and faith-integrated care in outpatient, hospital, military, and community settings.
Whether clients are seeking short-term, solution-focused support or deeper healing from longstanding emotional wounds, Sandra utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. She has completed specialized training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an innovative, evidence-based treatment endorsed by the American Psychological Association and shown to be highly effective in addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
At the heart of Sandra’s counseling approach is a strong commitment to the therapeutic relationship. She believes that trust, empathy, and genuine connection are essential for meaningful growth and healing. Her style is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a safe space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
