Marcy McClain, MA, LPC-S
No two stories are the same, and every person deserves care that honors their individual journey. Marcy believes deeply in the resilience of the human mind, body, and spirit, and in the power of therapy to support healing and growth. She works with children, adolescents, and adults from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them navigate both everyday stressors and life-altering events. Clients experience Marcy as warm, grounded, and steady—someone who creates a safe space to slow down, be honest, and begin the work of healing. For clients who desire it, she also integrates Christian counseling into the therapeutic process.
Marcy is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has provided clinical care in private practice, hospital, residential, and
community environments, supporting clients facing psychiatric, behavioral, emotional, and spiritual concerns.
Her approach is practical, compassionate, and collaborative. She has particular insight into the needs of trauma survivors, individuals coping with grief and loss, and clients whose lives have been impacted by serious illness or injury.

Over the years, Marcy has facilitated individual, family, and group therapy; coordinated treatment planning with multidisciplinary teams; and supported families as they navigate complex transitions and systems of care. Whether a client is feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or unsure where to begin, she meets them with patience and respect—believing no one should have to walk through difficult seasons alone.

Marcy holds two master’s degrees from Liberty University: a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and a Master of Arts in Human Services with a focus in Marriage and Family Counseling. She is honored to walk alongside clients as they discover new strength, new clarity, and new hope.
