Sarabeth Bozeman, MA
From the first conversation, Sarabeth Bozeman’s warmth and authenticity put people at ease. She has a gift for meeting clients right where they are—whether that’s in the middle of anxiety, caught in cycles of perfectionism, or simply feeling worn down by life’s demands—and helping them take the next small, hopeful step forward.
For Sarabeth, counseling is not just a career—it is a calling. She is deeply certain that God has led her to this work, and she approaches every client with the conviction that He is present in the process. That certainty is rooted in her own journey through therapy, where she faced and overcame challenges such as perfectionism, anxiety, and disordered eating. The healing she experienced fuels her desire to walk alongside others as they pursue freedom, wholeness, and a renewed sense of self.
Sarabeth is an Associate Licensed Counselor at Still Waters Counseling and Education Center, serving clients in person at the Mountain Brook office and online throughout Alabama. She specializes in working with tweens, teens, and adults, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, disordered eating, perfectionism, stress, burnout, self-worth, trauma recovery, and faith-based counseling for those who desire it. Her approach blends evidence-based counseling methods—such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, Brainspotting, and person-centered therapy—with biblical wisdom, offering practical strategies alongside hope and truth that speak to the heart.
Her professional path reflects both strong academic preparation and real-world experience. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of South Alabama and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Belmont University. She has received specialized training in trauma-informed care, psychoeducation delivery, Brainspotting, and clinical assessment. Her clinical experience includes counseling internships in both community and faith-based settings, working with diverse clients and addressing a wide range of mental health needs.
Sarabeth understands the pressures of performance, appearance, and identity in competitive environments not only as a trained mental health professional but also through her own lived experience. This blend of clinical insight and personal history allows her to connect with tweens, teens, and young adults on a deeper level—speaking with both the empathy of someone who’s been there and the expertise to help them move forward.
At her core, Sarabeth is committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel truly seen and supported. Whether she’s guiding a teen through anxiety, helping a college student navigate identity pressures, or walking with an adult through burnout and recovery, Sarabeth’s goal is the same: to help clients uncover their worth, embrace truth, and step into the freedom they were made for.
